Blogs/Sites I Follow

Below is a list of some of the blogs/sites I follow.  More recently I am following lots of crafty blogs, You Tube vlogs (video logs) as that is where my interests and hobbies are going.  Quite a few of those listed below have more than one social media outlet e.g. You Tube channels and Instagram and Facebook pages as well as their own websites. I might follow them across a number of platforms but have only listed them once below.

Barefoot Boat Bums – Jake helped Neil lash Gleda together before we launched and sailed with Neil and I across Biscay. He is now starting out on his on boating adventure with Lucie on Ragtime.

Sara Lawson of Sew Sweetness – an American sewist who creates the most amazing bag patterns.  I have a couple of her patterns and have made a few of her designs.

Stitch Sisters – l love Rachel and Nikki’s vlogs.  All about sewing and so much fun.  Their blog is listed above.

Luckyfish Gets Away – Stew and Zaya came to see us on board Gleda when we were still on the hard in the boatyard at Weir Quay. Some months later they bought a Tiki 38 in South Africa and have sailed her across the Atlantic.

Instagram

SailingTangaroa – Jonna and her Boston Terrier Donna arrived in Yacht Port Cartagena just before Christmas 2017.  As well as watching their story unfold in person, Instagram gives a great insight into their life.

Marky.Warren – Marky is also in Yacht Port Cartagena having left his banking job in the UK to live on board a sailing boat – learning to sail as he goes along.
